The National Register of Historic Places is a database that compiles a list of properties that meet the legal requirements to be considered for inclusion in the register. These include buildings, districts, objects, sites, and districts that are listed on the National Register. Also included are districts. The National Register of Historic Places is managed by the National Park System, but the individual listings themselves are managed by the National Park Service.
Indianapolis ( IN-dee-ə-NAP-ə-lis), colloquially known as Indy, is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Indiana and the seat of Marion County.
